Utilising photography and video stills made through field work in Solovki and Arkhangelsk Russia, Kaunus and Vilnius, Lithuania and Riga, Latvia. Also in response to the films by Marina Goldovskaya and through kind permission responses to the extensive Gulag archive from Solovki State Museum Reserve Russia.
